Our Story
StayWell Restoration was founded by Alicia Riordan and Brian Miller, two leaders with different backgrounds but one shared mission: to elevate the standard of environmental care across Florida.
Alicia, a California native, brings more than two decades of experience across HVAC, building operations, mold remediation leadership, and environmental services. Her career journey, from real estate and sales to executive leadership in health-centric HVAC and mold remediation, gave her a deep understanding of how moisture, ventilation, building systems and environmental contaminants affect indoor air quality. After her daughters experienced mold-related health issues firsthand when they moved to Florida, Alicia became passionate about helping families navigate an often confusing and overwhelming process with clarity, empathy, and science-based solutions.
Brian Miller, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, contributes a powerful blend of discipline, strategic thinking, and organizational excellence. With over 20 years of leadership experience, including managing large teams, overseeing some of the largest rescue, security, and environmental disaster clean-up operations, Brian transitioned out of the Coast Guard into an owner and CEO role over a global company with over $20M in revenue. Expanding his reach, he is bringing his operational strength, financial stewardship, and a commitment to doing things the right way to the Florida community. His transition from military leadership to business ownership reflects his passion for building trustworthy companies that serve their communities with integrity and care.
Together, Alicia and Brian combine technical expertise, operational excellence, and a shared dedication to helping families feel safe, supported, and confident in their homes again.

She leads with curiosity, compassion, and an unwavering desire to do what’s right, guided by her own personal experience with mold-related health challenges. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Florida’s springs, beaches, and trails with her daughters and their energetic dog.
